Taylor Map of the Hundred of Basingstoke (1759)
‘I adore the colours in this. Again, it’s one of my local area, in the days before the railway made its way through, and long before the very notion of the M3 would even be considered. This map is particularly good at showing the hills around this area, which shelter Basingstoke somewhat while making driving to the south-east a very entertaining experience.’
